Fretchie's 23rd

Last monday we celebrated fretchie's 23rd birthday., we had lunch at Moonstar all the way in Daly city. Afterwards, we decided to go to Emeryville to look around and shop then ate dinner at California Pizza Kitchen then we headed to Regal in Oakland for the famous Karate Kid!

Ohhh man,, i can say that kid, Jaden Smith, will be worth a million dollar soon!! He's really good.. the movie was kinda draggy for the first few part but they ended it with a big bang!!! A must see!! =)

Girl Friends

Last wednesday I went to my first meetup group.. it was a funny feeling for the reason that I had some flashback of memories before. It was a meetup dinner at Burma Superstar. When i was driving my way there I felt nervous and anxious at the same time. I was thinkning.. hmm will i like them? are they nice people? will I understand their sense of humor or maybe i'll die of boredom not understanding what they'll talk about. Then I had a feeling of regret.. I was telling myself// "ohh, cheng what have you gotten yourself into once again". It was so funny coz that's the same feeling i get everytime I will go to blind dates before. lol :)

I gathered up all my couraged and decided that I would still head there since I am all dressed up already. I found the place , walk in the restaurant and ask the food server if there's table reserved under the name of Rebecca. He pointed me towards the bar saying " yeah,, they are there." To avoid more awkwardness and just get it over with.. I approach them and said " Is this the meet up? " both girls laughed and said yes! :)

On my way home I felt so relieved, happier, thankful that I went out of my comfort zone to meet 3 beautiful ladies who were also looking for some friends to hangout with. It was a brush of fresh air to meet them and see what are the other people are doing with my age and in this area. It was a night of chatting, planning and getting to know each other. I am looking forward on the next meetup and contrary to the regretful feeling I had before I felt so thankful that I did show up! :)

Boo Boo =)

I put a new face on my blog.. coz it wont be about just me .it wil be about me and my hubby boo boo, Jason. Me and him and our life together. I feel more blessed everyday as I know the person that I married. We might have a rocky start but all things settled down once we were assured of how we feel for each other. As i talk about him,, i couldn't help but smile. Smile for many reasons.. but to sum it up I am in so much joy to be a part of his life. I am thankful to God for giving me the man that I need. =)
